Top management award for Bellshill’s Margaret-Ann

USA (SANEPR.com) March 5, 2009 -- It was a night to remember for Margaret- Ann Nohar from Bellshill, as she was crowned the Kwik Fit Insurance Senior Manager of the Year at their annual Employee of the Year awards ceremony on Saturday.

The glamourous Oscar-style event, hosted by TV funnyman Craig Hill, was held at The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh with over 250 guests in attendance. The event recognises the top performers from all areas of the business who have contributed to the success of the company in 2008.

Margaret-Ann, the Head of Products (Non Motor) picked up the award and £1000 prize money along with 33 other winners from various areas around the business.

Margaret-Ann said: “It is a great honour for me to win the Senior Manager of the Year award. It has been a very successful year for Kwik Fit Insurance across all areas of the business, so I knew I would be up against some tough competition. It’s fantastic that the company reward so many of our staff for their hard work and it’s a night I’ll never forget.”

Managing Director of Kwik Fit Insurance, Brendan Devine presented Margaret-Ann with her award. He said: “It’s important as a business for us to reward key employees who contribute greatly to our continued success. Despite difficult financial times, our growth has continued. Without the continued dedication of all our staff, this could not be achieved.

“We have been honouring our staff with these awards for four years now, and each year more and more of our people claim their place at the event. I was delighted to present Margaret-Ann with the Senior Manager of the Year award. She has consistently improved her department’s performance throughout the year and stepped in to oversee new projects when required. Well done to Margaret-Anne and all our winners.”
