Users online can use quick search tools to locate a hospital, clinic, or doctor anywhere in the US. Search tools can be used using a zip code, state/city nomenclature or by illness or doctors qualification/name.

The database included multispecialty hospitals, nursing care, long-term care centers as well as internists, general practitioners, pediatricians, eye doctors, skin specialists, ob/gym and family practice physicians. Users online can use the database to shortlist medical care facilities and find out what procedures are undertaken and the cost.

“1866doctor has been redesigned and launched to become a resource for information on medical problems, and guidelines to possible solutions; the data base has over 15000 doctors/hospitals,” says a team member.

The aim was to provide resources on tab to patients and families anywhere in the US. Users can read doctor profiles, check references, find out what facilities hospitals offer and check where doctors are associated/practicing. Online tools enable people to make appointments and determine aspects like costs and insurance claim procedures.

The data base is prescreened and only reliable medical services can be accessed through 1866doctor.com Articles, FAQS, and links to online medical encyclopedias enable online users to learn about medical problems and find out about preventive health care options and more.
