iDTRONIC Offers a New UHF Reader SDK to all RFID System Integrators at a Special Introductory Price

USA (SANEPR.com) May 15, 2008 -- iDTRONIC’s latest Feature Product, the UHF Long Range Reader SDK, includes the high-performance IDTRONIC UHF Long Range Reader/Writer, as well as the UHF LR-A Antenna, plus a full SDK on CD-ROM.

The new reader is designed as Multi-tag UHF Reader and is capable of reading tags that conform to the EPC Generation Two (Gen2) and ISO 18000-6 B/C standards. This UHF device is field-upgradeable for future protocols and allows reading distances of up to 10 meters.

Based on Intel’s latest R1000 transceiver, this reader can be configured with any frequency between 860 and 960 MHz. It also has also a software programmable RF Power supply (up to 2W RF).

The UHF Reader is a multi-protocol, multi-regional UHF RFID device. Advanced features include the support of Dense Reader Mode (DRM) and Listen Before Talk. Its Anti-Self Jamming (ASJ) technology allows deployment of several readers simultaneously in a Multi-Reader Environment. Easy and fast firmware upgrades are possible via the USB Interface, and a SDK for Developers is also available.

iDTRONIC’s Long Range UHF Reader is designed to allow many different configuration possibilities for a wide variety of applications, including asset management, baggage handling, container & pallet tracking, item-level inventory management and warehouse logistics.
The new LRA UHF antenna covers both European and US RFID bands. The antenna is entirely waterproof and is very easy to install. It has a circular polarisation for reading in any orientation.
The iDTRONIC UHF-LR LR SDK is specially configured for developing UHF Long Range applications. It is a complete solution in hard- and software, including software tools with drivers, demo applications and source code. The SDK includes the full set of hardware necessary to being the development of your specific application.
