UK (SANEPR.com) November 3, 2008 -- The sun is in its full glory and to celebrate this delightful time of year, Adoreum sponsored an evening of music and jewellery at Claridge's. This charming soiree gracefully united the two arts and was entitled "Love is a Many Splendoured Thing". The famous song featured amongst a selection of classical romantic music performed by the world-renowned musicians: Trinidadian tenor Neil Latchman and Canadian concert pianist Amira Fouad.
Soiree commenced with a champagne reception enjoyed against the backdrop of Adoreum's stunning showcases. Only eighty people were selected to experience its unique range of fine jewellery and precious timepieces.
Neil Latchman's velvet voice and Amira's angelic touch on the piano perfectly matched the glittering beauty of the gems. Their brilliant performance was the true highlight of the evening and seduced the auspicious guests into a celebrating London in bloom. "Champagne, delicious canapes, diamonds and marvellous music! This was my type of heaven!" commented Countess Anne de Suiza.
High Commissioners for Grenada and for Trinidad and Tobago, Sir Swinton Thomas and Lady Thomas, Countess Anne de Suiza, Marquis Francois-Eudes de Louville de Toucy, H.R. Owen Director Rodney Turner, Knightsbridge couture designer Rachel Elbaz, milliner Tracy Rose, sporting one of her own designer hats, soprano and the "Russian Hour" international TV portal presenter Ksenia Jones, Irina Dobbs - Managing Director of a new Polo Club "Equus Etiquette", the daughter of LukOil vice-president Julia Tarasova, Director of exclusive membership Carte Blanche Plus Marcia Mouradian and many more were among the guests of Adoreum at Claridge's on the night.
The elegant Gala continued a series of glamorous events, staged by the club for its members. Their caviar and champagne Russian Party at Thomas Goode in 2006 set the top hospitality standard.
Adoreum is the private client membership service from Winsor Bishop. Its owner Robert Croydon was almost groomed for the position from a young boy as his family was heavily involved in jewellery trade for five generations.
Started in 1834, Winsor Bishop is a family-run business that has been setting trends and controlling the jewellery market within the region for almost 200 years.
Winsor Bishop's pedigree led on to the successful launch in 2005 of the London client-based service: Adoreum. Through the parent company in Norwich, Adoreum are able to supply exquisite jewellery and timepieces from around the world to their members and private clients, saving them time and offering a discrete answer to their watch and jewellery needs. The service is absolutely unique and is developing quickly.
Adoreum's business partners include: Limecard, PrivateSea and Stockinger.
According to Sophie Croydon, the Assistant Director of the club, every item they buy is hand selected for its quality, its rarity and its beauty. "We, amongst others of our staff, travel far and wide to find these pieces and that can mean anything betrween Switzerland for the world's finest timepieces, to the French Polynesia for Tahitian pearls and to Thailand for wonderful coloured stones or just over the water to Antwerp for fabulous diamonds".
Luckily for Robert Croydon himself, travel is at the top of his favourites list, followed by golf and sails. Just days after the event at Claridge's he is back on track on a personal voyage of driving through China, Mongolia, Russia and Eastern Europe - for more astonishing jewellery and for fresh impressions.
